A superhero-themed 5K with real-world impact.
Held during National Suicide Prevention Week, the HBOT4Heroes’ Run 4 Their Lives 5K wasn’t just a race—it was a call to action. A moment to honor those we’ve lost. A rally to support those still fighting. A mission to bring real hope to real people.
Why We Ran
Because 44 veterans die by suicide every day.
Because first responders are burning out and falling through the cracks.
Because people you know—and people you love—may be fighting silent battles.
We ran to say: You are not forgotten. You are not alone. And we are not done fighting.
About the Race
This is a superhero-themed, family-friendly, and fully inclusive 5K event near Raleigh, NC.
Walk it. Run it. Roll it. Wear a cape. Bring a stroller. Invite your dog. Everyone is welcome.
As you register you can:
✓ Dedicate a cape to your personal hero at the Cape Station
✓ Add a Tribute Trail sign in honor, memory, or support of someone who matters to you
✓ Create a team and raise funds together

HBOT is giving people back their lives. It’s restoring clarity, reducing suicidal thoughts, healing trauma, and offering hope when nothing else has worked.

Costume Contest
Participants brought the hero vibes and dressed to impress! Capes, masks, and full-blown superhero transformations—all were welcomed. Runners came to the race in costume, and the best-dressed heroes were spotted out on the course. Winners were announced at the finish line.
